I think I'm a purist in the worst sense of the word. Really. Books that I have been reading since I was twelve or thirteen should not be adapted into things that are hardly recognizable.
This is acceptable.
This is not.
Cast and production= great. I love the Hale.
Adaptation of One of My Favorite Books Ever= awful. Not the Hale's fault.
